Haha. I always play Mes in JQ/FA and it's amazing how many people will stand there and let the skills go off and take the damage when I cast Wastrel's Worry/Demise on them.
Just like the Assassin's that attack through Empathy and die immediately

Hehe, that reminds me of an Assassin who called me a hacker in AB years ago.
Running a Curse bar I of course had IP on me. I see this lone assassin running towards me (saw a caster and thought its easy prey). I cast IP on him just before he reaches me, then type /dance, wait untill he was nearly dead and typed /boo . I then said in allchat that I had scared the assassin to death and apparently he beleived me. He started raging that I was hacking and no matter how often he would attack me, my HP would not go down even though I wasnt casting any skills and there was no monk close by.
I guess some things never change.

No screenshots of any of these, but they are things that stick out in my mind.
'Everyone likes Obsidian Armor, and anyone who says otherwise is just too poor to buy their own.' Because anyone with a mind of their own must be poor.
On a related note, when my husband was wearing a mix that included Obsidian armor, some guy approached him out of nowhere to tell him he was wearing 'fake Obsidian' and that he was 'too poor to afford the rest.' He had the rest of the set sitting in his inventory for his HoM, but preferred the mix.
I saw this one on Guru, but it was so stupid that I think it fits. 'People shouldn't be allowed to mix armor in this game.' Yes, let's stifle creativity just because some people make some mixes you don't like. Granted, I saw it while browsing the bad armor combo thread, but still.
And this was in game, when I couldn't find any help on the Screenshot Request forum. I was trying to find someone to show me Elite Rogue's top in white. A guy PM'd me saying he had it, and wouldn't show it to me until I went into his HoM with him. His armor was dyed white + BLACK, so it was totally useless to me, but he insisted on showing off and explaining every. Single. Thing. in his HoM, plus some req 7 or 8 sword, for the next 45 minutes. I was probably just as stupid for sitting there and saying, 'Uh-huh. Okay.' but I felt kind of bad that he was that desperate for attention. He also said that he didn't think people should ever mix armor unless they used pieces that looked really similar to the original set once I told him that I don't like wearing full sets.

This reminds me of the time when I was still guildhopping. (I quit looking for a decent guild a long time ago) I was in this one guild with a pretty decent alliance there was just one thing off.
Pretty much every officer and the leader had come up with a couple of rules. First of them being donate all your platinum to the officers so they can craft their obsidian armour. If you didnt have anything you would get kicked instantly. (Queu me being kicked because i'm not stupid)
2 weeks later I got a whisper from one of the officers claiming I was a RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE (you can think up some sweary words here) for not giving him money. He kept on blabbering for over an hour (I never replied once mind you had too much trouble keeping my head to the game with all the laughter) I eventually just ignored him and that was the end of that.

I have a bad habit of talking to people, while thinking I'm talking to other people because I don't pay as much attention as I should when selecting names, or I've talked to both people recently and don't properly switch back and forth.
Mostly, it's harmless stuff, but sometimes it's really random and out of context, is probably frightening, or worse, they think I'm coming on to them.
The worst was the day WoC released and I went to whisper a friend about the fans and we carried on for 30-40 minutes, just talking back and forth about the fans until for whatever reason, my actual friend whispers me and is like, 'hey.. ' and I realized, 'heeeeeey'.... I'd been talking to a total stranger for 40 minutes! The worst of it was, he was carrying on with me like he knew me too..so I have to wonder if he has the same name selection problem I do..

You should whisper your friends through your friends list. That way it doesnt happen again.

It's typical of Kamadan 'buyers', who honestly, mostly consist of powertraders trying to out-lowball the next, but your reply wasn't exactly kosher, either.

People selling Fruitcakes for 50k per stack in Kamadan.
Red Bean Cakes are available all the time from Canthan merchants for 400g which is the same price per point. This defeats the purpose of going to Kamadan to buy sweet points.

How does he have the issues? What he said is in green, responses are blue. The kid that pmed him had no idea what his item was worth and called him a scammer.

Read it again. The seller started swearing and calling the buyer names when the seller said he wouldn't get 200e for it.

You gotta have thicker skin. If he's gonna piss his pants like that every time someone calls him a noob, gaming life is going to bring the onset of a stroke for him.

Exactly...
may I direct you to all the times he crossed out vulgar insults that he himself sent to the other person?
